GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT

I. FORMALIZATION OF THE RESERVATION AND METHODS OF PAYMENT

To formalize a reservation, with the boat and the desired dates, would be completed from the moment the company receives the payment for the amount of 50% of the total amount of the rent (less the payment through the web). The remaining amount must be paid on the day of embarkation, prior to the start of the rental, specifying with the company and through one of the following payment methods:

• Debit/Credit Card: Visa, MasterCard
• Cash
• Bank transfer
• Bizum
• 100% payment through the web

II. CANCELLATIONS

In the case of cancellations without justified cause*, or no-shows on the day and time of the rental, a penalty of 50% of the total rental price will be charged.

In case of not being able to perform the charter on the reserved day, due to adverse weather conditions, the charter company will offer the possibility of changing the day, according to availability. In case there is no availability or the new date does not suit the client, the full amount will be refunded.

The decision for cancellation, depending on the weather, is up to the rental company.

This will apply in the case of constant winds of more than 25 knots or heavy rain at the time of departure.

III. FUEL

Fuel is not included in the rental price. Each boat has a different consumption, which is specified in the characteristics of each file. All boats will be delivered with a full tank, and it is the customer’s responsibility to deliver them with a full tank on their return to the port. In the case of rental without professional skipper, an escort service is offered to the gas station and then to the mooring, for the tranquility of the customer.

IV. HIRING A PROFESSIONAL EMPLOYER

Depending on the boat, it may be optional or mandatory to hire a skipper.

Regardless of the size of the boat, you can hire a professional skipper, together with the rental contract. This way you will make the most of your day and you will be more carefree in the hands of someone competent and knowledgeable of the area.

At the time of boarding should be paid the amount of their services. The price of this service is from 150€.

V. BOND

Normally the condition of paying a deposit is required when hiring a boat without a skipper, but there may be exceptions, depending on the boat. In this exception, a bond would be required even if a professional skipper is hired.

At the time of signing the rental contract and delivery of the boat, the CUSTOMER shall pay, as a deposit, a deposit to guarantee any breakdown, loss, breakage or damage caused by misuse of the boat and its contents. This amount shall be fixed in the rental contract.

The deposit can be paid by credit card or in cash at the time of boarding. In the case of credit card, the time limit for the return of the deposit will be fixed by the bank’s conditions.

VI. RENTAL SCHEDULE

The rental schedule is reflected in the description of the boat, and may change in different boats. Normally they are rentals of between 8 or 9 hours. Half day or sunset rentals are 4 hours. It is necessary to confirm with the company, the schedule when the client wants to embark.

VII. RETURN

The boat must be returned at the same pick up point of the port of delivery, respecting the schedule agreed in the contract. Failure to do so may affect the deposit.

* Justifiable causes would be an illness with medical proof, a positive Covid test, or being in close contact with an infected person and having to make a quarantine.
